Privacy Policy
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how Acelon handles personal information when you use our mobile app, web app, websites, APIs, educational services, customer support, payment and refund processes, and related features (together, the "Services"). It applies to students, parents and guardians, teachers, promoters, administrators, and visitors.
2. Information we process
Depending on how you use the Services, we may process:
- Account and contact information: name, email address, mobile number, normalised mobile number, account identifiers, and login or OTP verification information.
- Profile and academic information: optional avatar or profile image, address, city, state, language, class level, board, stream, subjects, target examinations, school name, course/package selection, and related education preferences.
- Learning information: enrolments, course and lesson activity, quiz and practice attempts, selected answers, scores, progress, saved revision material, notes, achievements, and similar learning records.
- Session and device information: session status, device label, login activity, and information needed to protect accounts and operate the Services. The mobile app and web app may keep limited local storage for sign-in state, preferences, and cached service functionality.
- Payment and refund information: payment gateway, order/subscription and transaction references, amount, currency, payment/refund status, coupon or promotion use, and payment-event information. Payment-card, UPI, or bank credentials are processed by the applicable payment gateway or bank rails; Acelon does not intentionally collect or store full card details.
- Referral and promoter information: referral code, promoter/referral relationship, referral events, conversion status, and associated reward or commission records.
- Support and communications: information you provide in a request, complaint, refund request, or other communication with us.
3. Why we use information
We use information to create and secure accounts; verify OTPs; provide learning content and services; personalise academic settings; record progress and results; process purchases, refunds, coupons, and referrals; provide support; prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorised access; comply with legal and accounting obligations; resolve disputes; and maintain and improve the Services.
4. When we share information
We do not make personal information publicly available by default. We do not sell personal information. We may share information only on a strict need-to-know, purpose-limited, and minimum-necessary basis with:
- authorised Acelon personnel and tenant administrators who need access for the Service;
- teachers or educational personnel only where their authorised role requires access;
- Rushivarya Solutions only where strictly necessary for authorised platform operations, technical support, or payment-related operational support;
- other contracted partner companies only for limited operational support, payment-related coordination, service enablement, accounting, audit, compliance, hosting, security, or similar required tasks, and only with the minimum information needed for that task;
- payment gateway, only to process, verify, reconcile, or refund a transaction;
- chartered accountants, auditors, tax advisers, and legal advisers for accounting, statutory, tax, or dispute-handling purposes;
- AI service providers only where an enabled feature requires their service, and only the minimum necessary content or de-identified content where practical;
- OTP/SMS providers, including MSG91 when configured, to deliver or verify OTPs;
- hosting, security, storage, support, and professional service providers bound by appropriate confidentiality or legal obligations;
- promoters only to the extent necessary to administer an authorised referral programme, without giving them unrestricted access to student records;
- government authorities, regulators, courts, or other parties where required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, security, or prevent fraud; and
- a successor organisation in a lawful merger, acquisition, financing, or asset transfer, subject to applicable law.
All such sharing is restricted by role, purpose, and contractual or legal confidentiality obligations. Neither Rushivarya Solutions nor any other partner company receives unrestricted access to student academic or learning records. We share such records only where genuinely required for a specifically authorised and contracted service or legal obligation.
We do not share full card details, UPI PINs, or bank-login credentials with Rushivarya Solutions or other partner companies; those credentials are handled by the applicable payment gateway. We do not permit independent partner marketing using personal information. Contracted AI service providers may not use supplied personal information for independent model training or an unrelated purpose unless that use is separately disclosed, contractually controlled, legally permitted, and supported by any consent required by law.
5. Children and guardians
The Services may be used by students. If a user is under 18, the parent, guardian, or other authorised adult who creates, funds, or supervises the account is responsible for providing any consent or authority required by applicable law. Please contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate authority.
6. Retention and deletion
We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain active accounts and learning records, meet legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, security, dispute-resolution, and backup requirements, or as otherwise permitted or required by law. A deletion request does not require us to delete information we must retain or can lawfully retain for those purposes.
When an account is closed or a verified deletion request is accepted, we will take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify eligible information, subject to the retention limits above and normal backup cycles.
7. Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to access, correct, update, withdraw consent for, or delete eligible personal information; close an account; or raise a concern about our handling of information. To protect accounts and other users, we may request reasonable information to verify your identity and authority before acting.
Send requests to acelon@axelivacloud.com. If you are not satisfied with our response, contact acelon@axelivacloud.com. Nothing in this policy limits a right or remedy available under applicable law.
8. Cookies and local storage
The web app may use cookies or browser storage, and the mobile app may use device-local storage, for essential functions such as sign-in state, security, preferences, and cached service functionality. You can manage some storage through browser or device settings, but disabling essential storage may prevent parts of the Services from working.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect information, including access controls, role-based access, authenticated sessions, payment-signature verification, and protection of stored service secrets. No system or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure; users must also protect their devices and account credentials.
10. International processing
We will handle any cross-border processing or transfer of personal information only as permitted by applicable law and will update this policy if a material deployment or legal requirement makes additional disclosure necessary.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy for legal, operational, security, or service reasons. Where required, we will provide reasonable notice through the Services or another appropriate channel. The current version will be available at the Privacy Policy link in the Services.
12. Contact and governing context
For privacy questions, requests, or grievances, contact acelon@axelivacloud.com. This policy is intended for Services operated from or offered in India and should be read with our Terms and Conditions and Refund Policy. To the extent permitted by law, any dispute relating to this policy is subject to the courts at Nagpur, Maharashtra. Indian law and any mandatory consumer or privacy rights that apply to you remain unaffected.
Terms and Conditions
Acceptance and accounts
These Terms govern use of the Acelon learning platform, including courses, tests, question banks, study tools, teacher features, promoter features, and paid services (the "Platform"). By creating an account, purchasing a service, or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms and the Refund Policy. Do not use the Platform if you do not agree.
Provide accurate account information and protect your phone number, OTP, password, and devices. Do not share credentials, bypass access controls, scrape or reverse engineer the Platform, or use it unlawfully. Access is personal to the authorised learner unless a product expressly permits otherwise. We may suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users, prevent fraud, comply with law, or investigate misuse.
Educational service
The Platform provides educational tools and content. It does not guarantee examination marks, ranks, admissions, employment, scholarships, learning outcomes, or any other result. Learners remain responsible for their study decisions and for reporting suspected content errors through support.
Students, guardians, and teachers
The Platform may be used by students. When a purchase is made for, or an account is used by, a person under 18, the purchaser confirms that they are the student's parent, legal guardian, or otherwise authorised adult and accept these Terms on the student's behalf, to the extent permitted by law.
Teachers and content contributors are responsible for ensuring submitted material is accurate, appropriately licensed, lawful, and suitable for its audience. A teacher's statement, answer, explanation, course material, or recommendation is not a guarantee or representation by Acelon. We may restrict or remove submitted content where reasonably necessary for legal compliance, rights protection, safety, or quality control.
Promoters and referrals
Promoters are independent referral participants, not employees, agents, partners, or representatives of Acelon. They have no authority to bind Acelon or promise discounts, refunds, admissions, earnings, results, or other benefits unless we have given written authorisation for that exact promise.
Referral rewards or commissions may be withheld, reversed, or recovered for cancellations, refunds, chargebacks, fraud, duplicate accounts, or misleading or unauthorised claims. Promoters must market truthfully and comply with applicable advertising and consumer laws.
Payments, refunds, and availability
Prices, taxes, service scope, and payment terms are shown at or before checkout. Payments may be processed through one or more third-party payment gateways. A payment gateway is a processing intermediary only and does not provide the educational service. Your bank, card, or app statement may show the descriptor configured by the payment gateway. Please verify amount, currency, and purchase details before confirming payment. Refund eligibility is governed by the Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. A refund request must be submitted within five calendar days from the successful payment timestamp, subject to the policy exceptions and applicable law.
We aim to provide reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or continuously available access. Service may be affected by maintenance, connectivity problems, third-party services, security events, force majeure, or other causes. We will use reasonable efforts to restore affected service, but resolution may take several days depending on the cause and third-party dependencies.
Temporary disruption does not automatically entitle a user to a cash refund. Where reasonable, we may restore or extend access or provide an appropriate service credit. Nothing in these Terms limits a remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Permanent discontinuation
If Acelon permanently discontinues the Platform or a paid service, we will give reasonable notice where practicable and provide a reasonable opportunity, normally up to 30 days, to request an export of maintained account, transaction, and learning records that can lawfully be provided in a commonly readable format.
Exports exclude licensed course materials, question banks, copyrighted content, third-party content, security-sensitive information, and internal records. A legal or contractual obligation that requires a different period or remedy will prevail.
Intellectual property, privacy, and liability
The Platform, software, branding, content, questions, explanations, media, and materials are protected by law and remain owned by Acelon or its licensors. You receive only a limited right to use purchased services for their intended purpose. Do not copy, sell, redistribute, record, publish, or commercially exploit Platform material without written permission, except as permitted by law.
We process account, transaction, learning, and usage information to operate, secure, support, and improve the Platform, and as otherwise described in the applicable privacy notice and permitted by law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Acelon is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss, loss of opportunity, or loss arising from examination outcomes, third-party content, or user misuse. Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, it is limited to the extent permitted by law. You will indemnify Acelon and its personnel for loss arising from your unlawful use, infringement, or breach, except to the extent caused by Acelon's own breach or misconduct.
Law and changes
We may update these Terms for legal, operational, security, or service reasons, with notice of material changes where required. These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts of competent jurisdiction at Nagpur, Maharashtra, have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer forum, regulator, or other right that applies under law.
Nothing in these Terms limits a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under Indian consumer-protection law.
Refund Policy
Refund window
You may request a refund within five calendar days from the successful payment timestamp. Send the request through support with the registered account details, payment reference, purchase date, and reason.
After five calendar days, payments are non-refundable, except where a remedy is required by applicable law, for a duplicate or unauthorised charge, a material failure to provide purchased access attributable to Acelon, or cancellation of the relevant service by Acelon.
Approved refunds and deductions
Where a refund is approved and permitted by law, it may be reduced by actual non-recoverable payment-gateway charges and applicable taxes, up to a maximum of 10% of the amount paid, provided the deduction was disclosed before purchase. No arbitrary penalty will be charged.
Any promoter reward or referral commission related to a refunded, cancelled, fraudulent, or charged-back payment may be reversed under the applicable promoter rules.
Interruption and shutdown
Services can be temporarily disrupted. We will use reasonable efforts to restore affected services, although resolution may take several days depending on the cause and third-party dependencies. A temporary interruption does not automatically create a cash-refund right. Where reasonable, we may restore or extend access or provide an appropriate service credit. This does not limit a remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.
If Acelon permanently discontinues the Platform or a paid service, it will give reasonable notice where practicable and provide a reasonable opportunity, normally up to 30 days, to request an export of maintained account, transaction, and learning records that can lawfully be provided in a commonly readable format. Licensed course materials, question banks, copyrighted content, third-party content, security-sensitive information, and internal records are excluded.
Processing
We will acknowledge refund requests through support and may request reasonable information to verify the purchaser, payment, and eligibility. Approved refunds are ordinarily returned to the original payment method through the relevant payment gateway. Where the original payment channel is unavailable or lawfully unsuitable, we may use another lawful refund method reasonably agreed with the purchaser. Processing times vary by payment gateway, issuing bank, and payment network.
For a complaint or grievance, contact acelon@axelivacloud.com. This Policy should be read with the Terms and Conditions, including the governing-law and Nagpur, Maharashtra jurisdiction provisions.
